PCMS supports March Gladness effort to keep at-risk-children and families together
PCMS has announced it will support the Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI) 2019 March Gladness effort.
RetailROI is a charitable organization backed by companies in the retail industry. It raises awareness and support to help vulnerable children worldwide. PCMS will make a donation to March Gladness for each retail attendee at its 2019 Retail In Rhythm User Conference in Nashville, TN.
Donations will go to Together for Good, a charity that helps keep at-risk families together and children out of foster care. Fifty per cent of children in foster care are not there because of abuse or neglect, but because at a time of crisis there was no family safety net.
Retail In Rhythm is a four-day gathering of PCMS VISION Commerce Suite users, industry thought leaders and partners taking place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Music City from April 7th to 10th.
“PCMS is proud to be supporting RetailROI March Gladness and the worthy work of Together for Good. Adding a charity component to our User Conference makes our event all that more meaningful for our employees, clients and partners,” said Flannery Higgins, who leads the Global Marketing team.
Greg Buzek, President of IHL Group and co-founder of RetailROI, said: “It’s fantastic to have PCMS on board to support March Gladness and Together for Good. 100% of the proceeds from this effort will help a child in need.”
Buzek is also speaking at the PCMS event. His session will focus on the topic Personalizing the Customer Journey, a key technology investment priority for retailers in 2019.
